HIV Rapid Progressors

Rapid progressors are people with HIV who develop AIDS within a few years if they don’t receive treatment. About 5% to 10% of people who are infected with HIV are rapid progressors. It isn’t known why the infection progresses faster in these people. They may have already had another problem with their immune systems.
