Doctors Hospital of Manteca

My daughter-in-law gave birth to twins at Doctors Hospital staff was wonderful. Thank you for all your hard work.

It's a small hospital but they do an excellent job especially in the emergency room. Staff is great, very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

My husband recently was transported by ambulance to ER here. He was immediately tended to by the nurses and moments later by the ER Doctor. Nurse Patricia was on top of everything giving my husband IV and the medication prescribed by ER Doctor. She even found a regular hospital bed for him as he was very uncomfortable on the transport stretcher. This made the wait in ER more bearable as he was waiting to be admitted into a hospital room. Furthermore, Nurse Angie periodically stopped by to make sure he was okay while nurse Patricia was tending to other patients. When he was transported into a hospital room on 2nd floor, the on duty nurse, Katheryn, quickly took over. In the three days that we were there, we were tended by several nurses Kay, Keisha, Violetta, Helen, and Sharon. These nurses are super wonderful and they worked together beautifully to make my husband feel comfortable. They even asked me if I needed anything and I'm just a visitor! I am very impressed with Doctors Hospital of Manteca!

Horrible experience at Doctors hospital of Manteca! From the very first interaction at the window at the emergency room around 9:30 p.m. the ladies were rude, had zero emotion, and they weren't friendly at all. The way they spoke to him was like they hated their job, and just wanted to go home. My fiance was terribly sick and weak, all he had been eating for days was the BRAT diet. I say this because when the doctor told us they were going to draw his blood he instantly got uncomfortable because he is deathly afraid of needles because he passes out almost every time and it scares him. It doesn't matter if you're a child or an elderly person, if you're afraid of needles there is no humor in that. Long story short the reason why there is a picture of my fiance's arm is because the phlebotomist did not sanitized his arm! That is health and safety sanitation 101! She was so condescending and rude to my fiance when he kept panicking about having his blood drawn she made countless sarcastic comments to him about him being afraid of needles and saying she was going to give him a baby needle since he was "so scared". I could only handle so many of her comments before I cut her off and I said to her "I don't like or appreciate the way that you are speaking to him, you are making us both very uncomfortable and I will not allow you to speak to him that way." She cut me off and proceeded with her sarcastic comments while I'm watching her and she roughly put the needle in him and realize she missed his vein and try to redo it and still no sanitizing. I was in such awe at the continued sarcasm from her I felt like it couldn't possibly be coming out of a professionals mouth who's supposed to make people feel comfortable and taken care of. After I had told her a few times how I felt about her treatment she literally did not give one ounce of empathy or apologize. I had to excuse myself from the room to calm down and when I came back the doctor was back and my fiance was telling him about the experience he just had with a phlebotomist he apologized very casually about it and said that he lets his staff be who they are and he doesn't like to micro manage them. He said thatwe just took her humor wrong and that she was simply trying to make him comfortable and I said back to him she should be in here apologizing I very bluntly told her how we felt and she never once said she was sorry! He proceeded to say that it was just her style that didn't sit well with us that he lets all of his staff try to make patients feel comfortable in their own way. I then told him clearly neither of us were laughing or liked her so-called humor. I was referred to call the director Steve winacca, but I have yet to do that. We will not be returning to this hospital.
