Roseland Community Hospital

I brought my husband to the hospital on Monday because he was really sick. The staff was slow but did lots of test to reach the right diagnosis, I commend them on doing a great job. The Nurse he had was very attentive, great job. Buuut the shift changed. Had a different crew. My husband laid in a soil bed all day even though she said she was going to change it. A Dr came to see him and he asked my husband if he needed anything, he told the Dr a dry bed but it never happen. She didn’t change the bed. Plus urine stayed on counter in a open container in room all day, really nasty. Get it together people, this is the only hospital on the far Southside. Please don’t mess it up. Could be beneficial for everyone

My mother is there now and they ignore her calls and let her stay in pain all day. They need to hire better nurses because the ones they got I think came from craigslist. Don't get in this line of work if you don't care about people. Treat your patients like you would want someone to treat your family. Your day will come when you will get the same treatment .

Two days throwing up constantly. Test said negative but doctors are caring enough to find solution for patients. Just wont let u leave in discomfort. Good hospital and Nurse Lpn

My wife came in complaining of chest pains which is not something to take lightly. First the security is was very laxed. They were sleeping on the job and no one was at their post. They were rent-a-cops. I mean no uniform. A black polo and black pants is not a uniform. The ER room they place my wife in had oxygen tanks in the room where they did not belong. Should’ve been in storage. There were used gloves along with used paper towels on the sink and the floors looked like they weren’t mopped in days. Deplorable conditions. I do have pics

I blame it all on management. There are skilled people in the building but poorly managed. It evens seems at times they are not sure whose to do what?
