TAD PROFFITT

Do not take your child to the ER , basically had to do our own assessment. Doctor was clearly not trained in pediatrics and just wanted to prescribe antibiotics and get us out the door after waiting for three hours.

Worst part is the waiting period. It takes so long for things to actually be performed. However after getting 7 stitches yesterday there, I'd love to thank Kat for doing such a good job patching me back together!!!

Went to ER with swollen neck and pain. She diagnosed me as having a virus yet no symptoms to back that up. Drastically worse overnight. Went to Cookeville ER. Immediately found 4 blood clots. One running my entire internal jugular. Could have cost me my life. Never again will I go there.

Fantastic staff. With a family member in the hospital, the staff and professionals have been wonderful caregivers. In a region where small town hospitals are closing down, we must appreciate the care and expertise that exists at Cumberland Medical Center.
