RNA is a long molecule that determines the inherited features of some types of organisms, such as viruses. The RNA is made up of smaller parts (nucleic acids) whose order within the RNA is important. In humans, DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) causes RNA to be formed and carry out messages within the body.
