Adcare Hospital of Worcester

I just witnessed Deidre, Chrissy and some other girl from the admissions department turn down a man who was past the legal limit of alcohol and completely desperate for help only because his Health Insurance was not Medicare, the guy had MassHealth but even in his pledge and begging to get help they told him they couldn't help him. I saw this with my own eyes. I guess this guy's life wasn't a priority, sad to say this man will probably die because his hope was diminished by an agency who swears they care but is only strictly buisness.

Misleading website..was told point blank after admitting family member that they are not a dual diagnosis facility. Detox AND rehab are 14 days total "Crisis Stabilization Unit, a program specifically for patients with co-occurring addiction and psychiatric symptoms. Staff will evaluate the patient’s case and determine a medication and counseling regimen to stabilize symptoms. Rehabilitation, a 14-to-28-day program dealing with the clinical aspects of addiction." Charge nurse and nursing supervisor become condescending and defensive when questioned by family members.

Horrible...been waiting 7 days for medical clearance because short staffed...now my boyfriend says he's better...he's already detoxed...when u ask for help and can't even get it....

Lloyd counselor....told me how I was going to die of an overdose tonight. What do you think about that?

The people there took great care of my son and he is still doing well on his road to recovery. Thank you.
