My daughter had an emergency at OC and was taken to this hospital. She was treated by Dr. Todd. This was one of the best hospitals I’ve ever been to. Care was prompt. The nurses were caring and Dr. Todd was thorough. We didn’t have a long wait. Wonderful experience. I’m really impressed by the treatment that my daughter received while there.

The staff was very warm and hospitable. I received immediate and constant attention. My wound was cleaned thoroughly and I was made aware of every phase of my short visit. I even shared laughs with the nurses thst cared for me. Thank you!!!

I visited a patient in the Emergency Department here while I was off duty. PROS: Hospital appears clean and well-lit. CONS: Approached nurses' station in order to ask about patient disposition/timeline; nurse said "get back to your bed" without giving me a chance to speak. Perhaps I would have been treated differently if they knew I was an RN. We'll never know.

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is because ER Charge nurse Lisa was great. However Dr. Willis in the ER was awful. My mother needed an NG tube and the first nurse had trouble with it. My mother is a fragile elderly woman. Dr. Willis tried to insert the tube, and couldn’t, to the great pain of my mother, then he tried orally, and it got kinked in her throat and that guy just walked away, with her gagging and gasping for air. He actually said he thought it was kinked and then he left the room with it like that AND NEVER CAME BACK. Finally the nurse took pity on my mom, after realizing he abandoned us, and pulled it out. Only the charge nurse I mentioned before was competent enough to get it done with minimum discomfort to my mom. Willis was bordering on negligent IMO. Wish my parents lived near a better hospital but sadly, AGH is all they have in an emergency. We would never go there voluntarily. Never.

I was taken to the AGH ER with an extremely serious condition on 9/19/19 and I would like to thank the ER Doctor and nurses in the AGH ER Department for the very thorough and professional care I received. I was admitted and the Nurses, CNA's and Doctors on the 2nd Floor continued that thoroughness and professionalism. I am very grateful that I was taken to AGH for treatment. I am now home safe and sound and want to give a big shout out to Nurses Heather, Stacy, Alex and the Tech's on the 2nd Floor. You all were terrific, Thank you and God Bless.
