My husband and I came in at about 9:45pm. I was having intense stomach pain and cramps. I was continually asked if it could be my period by both male and female staff. I was treated rudely because of fear of needles that started a panic attack (to which they would not accept as one). They also took a urine sample upon arrival and I could barely walk because of the pain, the best part is that they didn't even end up testing it. After figuring it out that I was probably lactose intolerant, probably mind you, they gave me (a 5'8" 150lb female) a double dose of the medication. Then proceeded to give me some water to drink. In the FINE PRINT of the paperwork it said to not eat or drink anything for 12 to 24 hours. Even though the staff member who administered the medication and gave me the water were the same person. After getting home we had to call 3 times to get through to anyone to tell us what was going on with me. A super insensitive staff and I will be going somewhere else before ever going back there

The only reason why I'm giving it 2 stars is because of the friendly staff. So, February of 2018, I went to this hospital after having roughly 15 panic attacks in a row. I had only had 1 other panic attack before this incident so we were all really confused on what was going on. Not only was I have panic attacks, but I also had this thing I would do where my eyes rolled in the back of my head and my muscles starting twitching and jerking, almost like a seizure. So, we get there, and they wheel me in a wheelchair to the hallway. (I couldn't be in the waiting room because I was having an active seizure.) Side note: We didn't know it was seizures at that time. Anyways, I sit in the wheelchair for approximately 10 or so minutes, seizing and having panic attacks the entire time until they FINALLY got me into a room. Now, the staff was very kind and nice. But, the medical part, sucked. They diagnosed me with severe panic attacks and said that the jerking and eyes rolling back was my body reacting to the lack of oxygen I had due to my constant panic attacks. I was prescribed anxiety meds and that was it. My regular physician made me go the very next day to get treated again, and they diagnosed me with the same exact thing. It wasn't until I went to children's hospital in Little Rock, that I was finally diagnosed with seizures and able to get properly treated for it. I was having over 45 seizures a day and was not able to get treated for it until 6 days afterwards of having to suffer with these constant seizures. I am now proud to say that I am now 52 days seizure free. 🙂 Longest ever.

I’ve been several times for different health issues. But recently the past couple times I’ve went for my current health issues, they haven’t been very helpful. I’ll start going to St. Vincent in Hot Springs. I just wanted to figure out what is wrong with me and why I feel sick. But they still haven’t figured it out.

If I could give no stars I would. Went in with severe abdominal pain. I have a decent pain tolerance due to dealing with many complications over the years and I was crying from the pain. 5 hours, CT scan, and a shift change a new doctor comes in after waiting 2 hours to even see anyone and tells me it was gas pain and they saw nothing concerning. I’m sorry, but gas pain isn’t painful enough to double you over and is equivalent to labor pains! Upon getting my release papers and walking out of the door I noticed they have gas pain, enlarged liver, and obese body habituate. So apparently I’m in pain bc I need to pass gas and I’m fat, and my enlarged liver is of no concern. I’ve never been told before I have an enlarged liver and he didn’t even discuss that with me. Absolutely hate this ED and I don’t even know how they’re still open. This isn’t the only time they’ve completely been oblivious. A few years back I went in to ER about 7 times in less than 3 weeks, and it wasn’t until the last one that they actually did anything. Come to find out I had a bad gallbladder, but it took 7 times to even get them to do anything. We, your patients, aren’t doctors, but most of us know our bodies enough to know when things are more serious and y’all just completely ignore us. I’m sick of it.
