Baptist Medical Center East

I went in there flipping out because my contractions were so bad and the nurses were so good to me trying to calm me down. Once I had my little girl and went to postpartum they took such great care of me for my two day stay. Everyone was wonderful and if I have another Im going to deliver there again I highly recommend Baptist east for every pregnant women.

The Labor and Delivery/ Pospartum Staff we’re GOD SENT. They were absolutely amazing and on point. They made sure My sister was comfortable and well taken care of. They were confident in every action they took and they made her feel safe and that her baby was in the best hands. They checked on her every second and showed just as much care for baby and mother as family would. Absolutely outstanding staff, round of applause to all of the wonderful doctors and nurses that made this once and a life time experience unforgettable and beautiful. To Lauren, Charica, Brantley, Melinda, Erin, Michelle, Christina (anesthesiologists), Brenda, Tammy, Jessica and anyone I may have left out, thank you from the bottom of my heart, you all were amazing!

Multiple bad experiences here at this hospital. I would recommend going somewhere else outside of this City. City people are just rude and incompetent. I gave them a chance once, twice, three times. Just go to a better hospital.

I took my husband to this ER for more than a 10/10 back pain. He saw a physicians assistant. He couldn’t stand, sit, lay down or hardly even walk, as well as vomiting to the amount of pain he was in. His blood pressure was through the roof because of the pain. They didn’t seem to care. They gave him a shot of Diladid, which did not help the pain, an X-ray, and then discharged him. His pain continued, and he went to another ER because of this intense pain. He now has had to have back surgery to fix the problem, they didn’t care to diagnose. Because of them not taking the time to see what was causing this pain, he has permanent nerve damage that could have been avoided. We are now getting an ER bill, because the hospital billed it as a non-emergency and insurance will not pay. If I could rate this hospital a 0/10, I would.

This has been the most miserable experience ever. I requested a transfer this morning at 7 am and these morons cant pull it off. Incompetent, and rude. Will never come back.
