Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville

By far, the best hospital I have dealt with. First surgery and it was all so smooth. What others consider a simple procedure, seemed like a life changing event for me since I have never had any parts of my body cut into. The Baptist staff, from primary care doctors to the surgeons, have made me feel comfortable enough that I was not afraid to change into the hospital gown when I arrived. The best nurse was Angela (I wish I remembered her last name). She was my pre op nurse.. WOW! What an amazing individual. Props to my GI doc and surgeon, Alexander Rose. I was up and walking the same night and fully recovered (or at least I felt like I was) in 4 days. Today marks three weeks since my surgery and I have been in a bathing suit and people cant even see my scars. I am so thankful. I would have never followed through if the staff was not as amazing as they were. Its not about the facility but the quality of the people... Baptist has both.

While I have had many problems with various Baptist facilities over the years, I want to give a 5 STAR shout out to R. Myers in outpatient (Women's Pavilion) for going above and beyond to help me get a scheduled MRI done in the basement of Baptist downtown. I was scheduled for outpatient, but was not notified their machine was down. I am also very appreciative of Mike in radiology for making it happen. And MANY THANKS to April and Amy for making it a comfortable test!! Thanks!!

Took very good care of my grandpa who just got off a plane and couldn’t walk. They kept him here until he could get in a rehab facility. All of the nurses, NP, and doctors went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable.

Pretty nice staff very friendly . Informational, knowledgeable. Truly caring about my kids and their care . The Gatorade and snacks they sent us home with was awesome our first visit! Thank you , God bless!

From beginning to end, it was a great experience given the circumstances. Everyone was warm, professional and competent. They explained things every step of the way and were like clockwork in terms of timing. I highly recommend.
