my fiance and I drove 40 mins to see a professional about serious pains in his upper jaw, causing swelling & what seemed like it was infected and needed serious attention. The doctor at the time looked in his mouth, and said she saw no sign of infection. She prescribed him pain pills, and antibiotics just in case there is an infection. He asked if he could get an injection, and her response was "we dont do injections at night". No pharmacy was open at the time, and the doctor only administered a pain pill during his visit (instead of antibiotics). When we got home and he had peace of mind, I read her diagnosis as a canker sore in his mouth. This is absolutely not what he had and I forced him to go to the emergency dental in the morning because I had a feeling she is just feeding the opioid epidemic ( a professional drug dealer, what a waste of a phD position). Over the phone, the receptionist says he needs to he seen immediately because it sounds like a serious infection. It was so serious they had to immediately remove his root canal, and empty his infected pus pockets. My fiance could have died if he continued to believe her diagnosis for even a day longer. Please review this doctor. I will release name if requested.

Brought our grandson in with 104.5 temp spike last night at 4 am following a febrile seizure, the EMT staff to the nurses, to the doc pulling the graveyard shift were swift, accurate, caring, with a dose of good natured humor thrown in. Thank you so Much for being there in a dark hour. He’s bounced back and eating a waffle right now. Peace to caregivers of Baptist Med. you rock!

Horrible experience this past friday 8/16. Im epileptic and the er dr, dr woodward- who I have seen before in the er- gave me a medication called tramadol that can increse my risk of having seizures...he knew i have a history of seizures. Will never go back. Also was there for 8 hours with just one test ran because i told them i was gonna walk out. I went to the express care 2 days prior to going to the er, where i was told to get a ct scan or an mri done at the er

I have been a patient of Dr. Devane for four years. He and PA Liz are terrific. Kind, helpful and professional. The staff in the surgery area are also great. I have had four surgeries there and they couldn’t be nicer. I went in Monday feeling quite ill. PA Liz was excellent. Five stars for her. My complaint and the reason for the three stars was the almost abrupt treatment by the receptionist and the nurse in the office and in the Xray room. I was a bit scared and some friendliness would have been welcomed.

Ambulance just took my son in after having a seizure and a dislocated shoulder. They did nothing to find out what caused the seizure and left him in pain for almost two hours with a dislocated shoulder before giving him a low dose of pain medication. They treated him like a drug addict instead of a patient. I believe they don’t understand what empathy means. I don’t believe his nurse or doctor really cared about him as a human being. I also have COPD and his nurse told me if I came up there and called her she would send someone to my car with a wheelchair so I could come in. I did so and called her she said they would be right out and no one ever came. When I called back after sitting out in my car for 20 minutes they said well he will be right out we just discharged him. So the nurse lied to me.
