Baptist Memorial Hospital Huntingdon

It saddens me and scares to me to death that the emergency services in my hometown are so atrocious and incompetent. My experience was the single worst effort at healthcare I have ever experienced. My health, my children and grandchildren health should not be subject to such unprofessional and down right horrid services.

I’m 74 years old and normally would go to a VA for care, but what ever I was dealing with got quite bad this week and the VA in Nashville told me to go to a local ER. Thank God I did. This place had oxygen on me and getting me ready for labs and test within 5 mins of walking through the doors. 4-5 hours later I was home and on my way to healing from a chest infection. In a few hours I had a chest X-ray, 3 EKGs, a shot of antibiotics, Blood drawn for Labs, and was givin a breathing treatment. I’m used to good care at VA Hospitals but this was allot more than good care. This was amazing, organized, and fast. 48 hrs later I’m on the mend. Thank you all

If I could give a review without a star rating at all I would. They gave my brother medicine that the ER doctor was told he is NOT to take. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever since in my entire life. I would not recommend this place period.

This hospital is a disappointment. My boyfriend has been here multiple time and they have not be able to help him and can not find anything wrong. If giving them 0 stars was an option I would.

We will never come here again. They wouldn't let us do the only thing that even seemed to temporarily stop the pain, which is a really hot shower, and not to mention that the patient is naked and they keep walking in and leaving the door open. Anything the patient asks for is denied immediately by any and all staff unless it's a request for pain medications. So unless your coming in for pain meds specifically I don't guess these doctors know what to do. Also, if they aren't able to help you, they decide to keep you anyway unless you agree to sign a paper stating that you refused service and then your insurance won't pay for the visit. So unless you wanna be stuck in a difficult decision of whether to let these money hungry maniacs take advantage of you or just sit here and let them dope you up then don't come here.
