Bayhealth – Kent General Hospital

Love this place would rather drive 1 hour & 30 minutes to come here than to go to any other hospital closer. Friendly staff excellent doctors. My last 2 kids were born here

Absolutely listen to there 2.1 review! Stay clear of this hospital. Arrived at 6:30 p.m it is now 10:24 p.m. still have yet to be seen with my 5 year old daughter. If you are in an emergency please, please, please book your flight cross country and at any other hospital as you should arrive and be seen sooner than this “hospital” (turn-over flight included). Seriously I am not kidding about the ER wait, just read the reviews. #KentGeneralKills

My father was brought in by ambulance for possible broken hip we have been here for 3 hours, no pain meds, seen the nurse once, were informed they only keep one Dr on staff at this hour, I just had to dig a urinal out if a drawer so he could urinate, .... It's been this way since I was a small child and I'm 50... We used to pack bags to come here with food and drink and such so the 12 hour adventure ... Stop building fancy new buildings and put more staff on board !!!

I went in with a stomach ache and received a $1000.00 BILL. this doctor ran every test under the sun that she could and the answer I received was " oh you must have had a virus". This has to be the worst hospital on the eastern shore. Not to mention she was so annoyed that she had to deal with a sick patient. I felt like she just wanted to get me and every other patient out of there because, duh out was shift change and her over paid butt wanted to go home n feed her face

I delivered my babygirl here! The staff was amazing, caring, and alert! They made sure we didn’t need for anything before, during, and after labor. I will be back in the future.
