Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Waxahachie

I read some other reviews and am surprised by some of the negative responses or experiences. I can only comment on my own. Leading up to Sunday, I had been here once for my son and twice for my father. All three times, I was so grateful for the fast and appropriate responses to my loved ones needs. But this Sunday when my daughter came into the labor&delivery ... this hospital and its amazing staff came through with flying colors. It was a hard delivery with complications. The nursing staff has been so loving, caring, and patient helping my daughter and new granddaughter every baby step of the way. These are EXACTLY the kind of people you want in a Labor & Delivery field. Special shout-out to Sean, our anesthesiologist - 5 stars, baby!

My husband went to this facility for blood work and a urine test. The facility billed the insurance over $1,000. We received our bill today. We called the facility to ask about a cash discount. They stated they do not provided that. Seems weird that they did it in the past. Over priced!

My cousin came here with extreme pain & her DR sent her home without even checking her. She had to call an ambulance to get here & actually get help! The Dr, an Indian male, literally came to her room to confront her after she complained about him. NOT OKAY. Nurses take hours to come check on her after she calls. One nurse told her “it’s okay I don’t have anything else to do” but they still take forever to come check on her. She told a nurse she felt like she was getting a fever & the nurse said “no you don’t have a fever. 3 hours later a different nurse came back & said “you have a fever you should have called us. These people are ridiculous & careless. DO NOT COME HERE.

On Thursday, September 19, 2019 I had a procedure at Baylor Scott and White-Waxahachie. The care and treatment I received was better than I could have hoped for. From the time I checked in at registration until I was discharged the level of care and attention certainly exceeded my expectations. I hope that if I ever need hospital care or treatment in the future, that BSW-Waxahachie is in the network of providers.

I went her for the first time today because my daughter had a fever. I went to the emergency room because on Saturday’s her normal doctor is not open. The experience was very uncomfortable and I have not experienced this before at an emergency room before... the doctor genuinely did not care and you could definitely tell she did not want to be there. One of the nurses that was in the hallway were rude to my mom when my mom asked about the doctor after we were waiting for 3 hours and no one was even hardly there today. There was 2 nurses that came in that were pretty friendly, but the doctor had no “bedside manners” at all. I will not be back to this location and I’m leaving this review not to bash the doctors but hoping that someone will discuss customer service to them with hopes it will get better.
