Belton Regional Medical Center

When my wife and I got there it was pretty empty. We were taken back and after initial stats and blood were taken we saw no one for 20 min. My wife went to the nurses desk 4 times for help. It was a kidney stone and we knew it. Finally, some one came quick shot to help pain thank God. Taken to a CT that was fine. Anytime we needed a nurse had to go to the nurses desk where there were 3 or 4 and ask several times. Never saw the Dr only an NP momentarily. Then I was given a prescription for pain meds and sent home to pass the stone. Get to the pharmacy (not even in Belton) and they have given it in the WRONG NAME, ADDRESS, AND DOB!! Drove back to the ER for the proper prescription. Get medical records access today and they have listed as a 13 year smoker. Never smoked a day in my life! Wondering if they mixed up the 2 patients!

I took my daughter to the ER this morning and the care was outstanding. She was seen right away and the staff was very caring and professional. Honestly, the best ER experience we have ever had.

I love Belton Research Hospital! I am from Belton but now I live in Lees Summit but I always come back because the doctors office is in the hospital and I can get any test done that I need right there sometimes same day! The staff is fantastic no matter what you have to have done!

At my advanced age, I've been in several hospitals over the years. But Belton Regional, being a smaller community hospital is by far my favorite for Emergency care, in-hospital care, mammograms & other services and physical therapy. The big BONUS is it's less than 1/2 mile from me!

I was taken care of quickly and courteously. Lab tech was great, in that she only had to poke me once- not usually the case. Got results to my doctor the day.
