Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital

I called and asked to speak with a nurse and got told there were no nurses available to answer my questions because they were too busy! I find this very rude that they couldn’t even find anyone to help answer my questions. The lady didn’t even ask what my concern was.

Was rushed to Dowagiac. They put up with my snarky in pain self with compassion and understanding. I was having a heart attack and not well. They saved my life and I'm forever grateful. Then was airlifted to Kalamazoo and received the same treatment. I'm also forever grateful to them as well. By the way I never do these reviews but I felt this one was well deserved. To add to my experience with Ascension in the last 3 trips to the Er not including the heart trip I have had nothing but the best nurses, drs, and staff. All very compassionate, informative, helpful and understanding.

HORRIBLE!!!! The doctor scared my son more than the stitches scared him. They wanted to X-ray the wrong leg even when the other leg had the bandage on it. The only positive I have is th muscleman nurse, he was great.

I took my mom into the ER on the weekend to get a strep test, came out 1 1/2 hrs with out anything to help. A few days later for her follow up,,,,, Bam she had strep.... I fell through a flight of steps two years ago and they said they would check the two main injuries even though I was complaining about six injuries

The emergency room takes forever to be seen, even when it is empty. You are better off driving to Paw Paw or Niles. The staff is rude and have no bedside manners. If you are sick enough that you think you need to be seen immediately, that is not going to happen at this hospital. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
