I work in the medical industry and I know patient care and how patients should be treated. My son was brought into the ER at this facility after being in a serious car accident. He had just placed his first phone call to me when I heard someone raising their voice very loudly with him with zero compassion or care. When I ask him what was going on; he said it was a nurse who was irritated because he hadn't given a urine sample yet. He was hooked up to an IV and wasn't sure how he was suppose to give a urine sample at that particular time. My son is 20 years old, was alone and injured. I agree with the person above, based on just a 20 second experience with this place, I would rate negative stars as well if I could. Here's a tip; don't work in a medical facility if you don't care about the patients.

I went here to get an x-ray of my knee. I think the x-ray guy's name was Chris. This was my first time ever getting an x-ray for an injury so I was kind of nervous. He was really nice and made me feel a lot better. The receptionist was also very nice. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I was there for a knee injury, had a very hard time getting up and sitting down in chairs, and they made me walk back and forth from the waiting room to the triage room TWICE before they put me in an actual exam room. So...waiting room, triage room for about 2 minutes while they asked me questions, then waiting room, then triage room so the doctor could ask me to try to walk for him, then waiting room, then finally exam room. I don't know if they just didn't think about it or if they were having fun at my expense watching me hobble around like a weeble wobble. Either way, it's a pretty decent place. I guess it just depends on the people that are there.

Absolutely ridiculous. One doctor inside the ENTIRE HOSPITAL! Bs. These people are rude and mean. They don’t care and I don’t understand how they are even in business. My spider bite is eating me alive and they get an attitude if I ask for some help after hours of sitting there! I have no respect for idiots. Please don’t come here. Please

Too bad you can't give this place negative stars. I won't go there for myself, but my mother keeps forgetting how horrible the place is and returning. The only exception is physical therapy and the radiology department. They're great. The ER is another story. Everytime we go to the ER the rooms are filthy. There are a few good ones, but most of the staff is downright rude. The doctors are arrogant and have the same nasty attitudes as the rest of the staff. Be prepared to spend several hours. They even have lists in the rooms to tell you how many hours you can expect your tests to take. I suppose this is so you can see it up front and not interrupt the staff to ask pesky questions. It's been going downhill for some time now, and it's probably time to just let it sink. I hate for us to not have an ER in our community but if this is the best we can get, maybe its for the best. If you have time to kill and like to be treated poorly, by all means go to Burke Medical. If you have a true emergency call an ambulance and ask for University.

My question is why hasn't anyone tried to clean this place up,and put educated caring doctors and nurses here??? This place is filthy and the staff just does not care at all, this place is horrible horrible horrible.
