Canton-Potsdam Hospital

Check in for outpatient surgery at 10:30am it's now 5:30 PM and he just went to surgery. This is our second outpatient surgery here and they are terrible. They pick and choose who they want to do first,doesnt matter what time your suppose to be here. I was told they moved some patients around. Unacceptable!!! This person has had no food or drink since last midnight. I drove 1 1/2 hr to get here and still need to drive home. I would never recommend this hospital for anything. They are not patient oriented,just assembly line and who they can get the most money from. Terrible place.

My only child was born in October 2018, she is almost 1 yr now and I have yet to see a birth certificate. One of the nurses in the maternity ward called me ugly to my face. Then called CPS before we left the building. CPS showed up at my house and left because the nurse was full of false information and the case worker has absolutley NO concern. Her name is Karen. She is blond and she wears glasses. She was also very mean to my child's mother too.

First experience here, as we are from Massena and tend to go to MMH most of the time. My daughter was sick and needed to be admitted today and the ER staff has been beyond great! All the people we came in contact with treated us very well and were very friendly- especially the nurses Pam and (I believe his name was)Jesse. I also feel that the doctors and nurses were very thorough in their assessment of her condition and made me feel like she was in good hands. I will definitely consider coming back here in the future...

Went to the ER on 7/22 with a bad abscess that is infected under extreme pain ... I can understand if its busy to need to wait a little bit but it was not busy and had waited over 3 hours with no explanation before I finally took my bracelet off and just left this is the kind of treatment they give people in pain I'll go somewhere else from now on.

This 1 star is TOO MANY!! They have now taken to breaking privacy of patients, and are doing vitals and asking patients why they need to be seen, right in the waiting room!! VERY rude nurse when I said something about it. This USED TO BE the best hospital in the county....Is NOT anymore. Disgusted and Discouraged.
