About 18 months ago I switched from a local clinic to Sauk Centre CentraCare. I was unhappy locally because I have several degenerative health conditions that required several different specialties of practice in one location.
I suffered a traumatic spine injury just over 10 yrs. ago resulting in 100% disablement and several degenerative conditions. I also have diabetes and pheriphial vascular disease. I struggled to find a local physician I felt qualified and comfortable with that would be my primary physician willing to work with a team of physicians with different specialties of practice and with a facility that had the resources available to be able to manage my health as efficiently and proactively as possible with my best interests as their top priority. A a readily available infrastructure and capability to execute my treatment plan, as well as keeping me informed of my progress in that plan. Also, letting me be a part of that team and actually considering my input as for what is best for me.
In the last one and a half years of health care with Dr. Haeg at Sauk Centre CentraCare, I have been able to meet health goals that previous local physicians, I think, had given up on. Upon initiating care with Dr. Haeg in a lengthy consult, a care plan was initiated by my second appointment. As goals are met new goals are set. My treatment plan is constantly evolving to give me the best quality of life day to day. I have also been impressed with the Dr. Haegs ability to resolve issues that come about every once in a while, In a very professional and quick response time. Dr. Haeg's nurse and other staff support has always been a pleasure to work with in any situation. It is nice to be taken care of by a team of people that I feel are truly looking out for my best interests. Having a good doctor and support staff has allowed me to be able to trust my healthcare providers again. I think having the trust and confidence I have found here has been the best medicine of all.
