Centura Health-Porter Adventist Hospital

Two strikes and their out. After two week long stays about one year apart, both of which resulted in poor care causing the stays to be much longer than necessary, we will not be using their services again. There are other fine facilities available. It is not worth the risk of going their a third time.

This is a great hospital. I love the fact that it's located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It has the feel of a smaller town medical center with state of the art equipment and facilities. The staff is excellent, nurses are well trained and competent. My attending doctor was kind and took time with me. Overall I am impressed.

i had a totally different experience w/ dr. kutnick n psych dept. never been to unit. dr. kutnick is kind, humuorous, and compassionate. i was admitted for a heart incident during ect. i had no visitors and that angel took time to visit me every day i was there. hell always have a special place in my heart and memories. thank you dr. kutnik.

Very efficient and patient friendly hospital. Center of excellence in many medical fields. Very highly recommended hospital.

Very difficult to rate Dr was great; nurses were great stops there We told them I am Deaf 2-weeks before schedule surgery. Requested an interpreter. Nothing. No interpreter. Finally after 2 hours of nurses doing stuff of which I had no clue they found the video relay machine. What a joke. Internet connection was little to none. Screen would freeze or call dropped x7. They got a different machine and it was worse. Then they want to go over instructions for home. Yes, I can read. Can Porter get an interpreter or boost the internet signal? Very scary to NOT know what is happening. Does Porter not have to follow ADA?? I am filing a complaint with ADA.
