Children’s Hospital & Medical Center

We had an awesome experience at the Children's ER. Angela Hawk APRN-NP And Carrie Hemmer MD saw my son for a possible foreign body in his nose. They were fabulous and so kind. Very caring. The staff at the front desk was absolutely amazing as were the nurses who took us back. I am very pleased with this emergency room. Thank you for making us feel welcome and taken care of.

The staff are amazing and caring people. They not only take great care with children, but take the time to talk to parents and visitor about all the equipment in the room and what each does. The professionalism displayed by all the staff went above and beyond what we expected. Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Took my 8 month old to the er. The nurses who took us back were very rude. They didn't seem to pay attention to what I was saying. I would explain something and they just ignored me. They weren't very welcoming and didn't really talk much. I was so uncomfortable and felt like I wasn't wanted there. But as soon as I went to the room the nurse and doctors back there were great.

Takes great care of children. ED team did a great job keeping my son calm. From the NP to the charge nurse and everyone else, it made this scary moment for my son seem like a piece of cake. Thank you

My son was transferred to Children's Omaha from a local hospital in Lincoln. From the moment the transport team showed up for the ride there...I knew we were in good hands. We had no idea...but our son is type 1 diabetic. The education they gave us before we were sent home was incredible. It was a lot to digest but they took their time. My son absolutely LOVED his nurses. They were all so caring. We will be spending a lot of time with the Endocrine Dept at Children's and I feel comfortable knowing they are going to do what's best for him. He's my best boy and he's going to live his best life with t1d!!
