My father was a wartime veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a purple heart recipient. He was admitted to the VA hospital, Hopewell House, in early December, 2018. The care, love, and compassion he received from the individuals working this unit was unsurpassed. As a healthcare professional myself, I was pleased to see this. Many thanks for the persons working this unit, and for the care and understanding given to my family on the day of my fathers passing.

Please, if you care at all for your health or well being - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! This place is filled with nothing but people who hate their jobs and all they do is keep referring you to someone else over and over so they don't have to deal with you. Bad attitudes, stacked on top of people who could careless about you because all they want is a paycheck. This is why I would rather die then to come to a VA hospital and this is happening all over America!

Nothing like there being a push for mental health across the VA and for some reason Chillicothe thinks it is okay for the mental health to be short staffed in behavioral health which leads to increased wait times for Vets. Shame on you guys!!
