levi cured my depression .

I just got discharged. I was in the unit for minors (teenagers) this psych Hospital is amazing. My favorite nurses are Carolina and Angel, they were really sweet. This facility really cares about their patients and it actually helped me 🙂

Went to outpatient for first time regarding personal issues. Noticed majority of clients were older or simply did not care to take care of their appearances. Told staff did not care to stay, as I could tell it was not for me.( I have an active social life and go out quite regularly) plus I got fashion sense, and an enormous awareness of current trend/pop culture. Staff assumes you are stupid or a low life/ will lie to your face to make you feel a sense of unease( lookin at you head nurse Jill 😉 Not wastin my time here. Would recommend the Santa Ana location -staff is way more content, likable & professional

These reviews were more than likely from people on the mental health side that were involuntarily held against their will for the safety of themselves and others around them. The substance abuse DETOX side of College hospital was seriously great. I have no complaints other than the food could have been a little bit better during meal time.... But honestly, they provided a healthy, celiac friendly diet for me 3 times a day, never late, and with snacks as well. They also had a fridge stocked full of yogurts, fruit, jello, puddings, carrots... All kinds of stuff. They even had ice cream!! (But that went pretty quick) You have phone, internet, and tv privileges upon arrival... No blackout like most detoxs. No, you don't get your personal cell, but who cares if you can write your numbers down before admitting and you can get on the computer all day. I don't see how anyone can complain about this place honestly. The staff.... Oh boy the staff was so incredibly accommodating and understanding. They will seriously do whatever they can do(be reasonable) to make you feel comfortable. The doctor sees you DAILY, another perk that I've not experienced at any other detox in orange county (I have been to seriously TONS of detoxs in this area, something I'm not proud to admit, but I'm telling you, this one is really accommodating. No, it's not a boushee detox in a multi-million dollar house over-looking the ocean with a hot tub you're not allowed to even use if you're taking medication. It's a hospital setting. You have a traditional hospital bed with the possibility of having one other roommate in your room. You can however pull a curtain around your bed to provide privacy if you feel so compelled. I promise this place will 9 out of 10 times provide you with a staff that HONESTLY cares about helping you, and will give you pretty much the same medication routine you'll get at any of these places. The only differences are (as mentioned above) college doesn't have a blackout period and will allow phone and internet use throughout the entire day and this place is only about 3-5 days MAX. The doc will probably write you a non narcotic taper for the PAWS. Not sure if he does that for everyone but he did for me. So yeah long story short.... Don't be scared to go here. They won't charge your insurance an arm and a leg and you'll get great care. I'm a total baby when it comes to being sick and seriously ...if I was okay...youll be okay. Just come with a good positive mindset and a plan for aftercare for when youre discharged. Youll be fine. Good luck to you and your loved ones. Don't wait just go. I showed up at 4 am. I told them I'd be there by 10 or 11pm. and even if they were not thrilled to have an intake right before shift change ( sorry guys) they still welcomed me with open arms and love. And that meant the world to me. Thanks to all at college hospital you all are great. Ps- Ryan is especially dope. He knows what's up and has some great stories, advice, and knowledge when it comes to recovery. Don is also pretty hilarious. All the staff kicks @$$ honestly.

Horrible experience. Receptionist was listening to a video on her phone for 3-4 minutes before acknowledging I was there. Psychiatrist was completely incompetent. Do not bring your child here unless you want a bill and no help at all. The manager greeted me when I checked him out AMA and immediately handed me a complaint form so I guess this is routine for them.
