Had a procedure done today and everyone from the check-in staff to the nurses that did the procedure were great. I had no complaints at all. The ladies that worked on me were so friendly and made sure I knew everything that was going on. I could not have asked for a more positive experience.

I had a mixed experience. I had a kidney stone that had me doubled over in pain in the ER. I could not sit upright and literally had to lay in the floor. It had not been diagnosed yet. Spent 45 min to and hour in that state. My wife was upset and asked in a pretty calm manner if I couldn’t be moved somewhere other than the floor in the ER lobby. The girl that was working admissions was extremely short and rude. Would be a little more understandable if it was busy. There was one other person that had a cut on his head and drunk (3am). She told us that the nursing staff would get back to her. When I did get back, there were 4 empty rooms. The nurse did not understand why it took so long to be sent back. The nurses and doctor were good but the overall experience was really beyond belief. I don’t normally leave poor ratings but the admissions person should be retrained. I just wonder what would have happened if it were more serious like a bursted appendix or something that was truly emergent. Hopefully they have upgraded their response.

Care and service was good. They start calling you the day you get out of the hospital for payment. So wrong when you just had a major surgery.

I made a review prior to this, about a year and a half ago. Then, the ER was pretty good about handling patients and did great. L&D with my daughter there was fantastic. However, since then, I've had another child there and have had family go. The nursing staff for me during labor was great, until they found my son's head beginning to crown. The nurse literally tried to push him back in. She yelled at me not to push. Guess she missed the part in school where they teach you that a woman's body can and will expel the baby on it's own. The doctor was late, arrived after I had given birth. My ER experience was ok, aside from the opinion of my surgeon that my gallbladder should have been removed the night I went because of it. My mother in law was treated poorly. Yelled at, ignored, the worst bedside matter you can think of, short of being hit. My grandmother died due to them ignoring her monitors. They found her after what they estimated to be two hours. My father in law is there as I write this, and they're dragging their feet and changing their route of care. Absolutely horrified by how much they've changed.

For an overnight ER staff... all I can say is amazing job guys. You're two for two with wonderful visits for my small child. When possible I will always take the time to get to this hospital and I live two counties away... just saying. One happy daddy! Thank you for the help with her and our peace of mind that we couldn't get elsewhere.
