It's my choice for hospital because it's where I'm use to going. They are over all slow. Some doctors are very caring and some have I'm only a doctor to get paid attitude. Hospital is clean and food to me is good overall.

They are painfully slow for everything. It took them 8 hours to send me to a room, and it took them more than 7 additional ones to sign my release papers. There is not enough communication and patients are neglected. Due to a mistake, they got me starving for 24 hours. A few nurses are caring, but others are too insensitive. I will never return to this hospital. .

Dr. Conway is a very caring doctor and a very nice person! The entire ED staff was wonderful and I greatly appreciated all of their care during my visit on Saturday September 7 2019. Thank you all Sam Hansen

Most of what I went through was positive except getting into a room, was told many things that did not happen, or was supposed to be. I called several times to see what time I should be there. When I finally got through to someone that could tell me told me I should be there now. I told the nurse I did that the last time and reported as told at 0900, and did not get into a room till late in the afternoon. Well it was no different this time, it took so long to get things done, and I sat all day in the staging area like the first time. Why is this so when I have a scheduled time? It was a hurry up job, and nothing I was told was done. Why?

DCH = Don’t Come Here. If you are very ill, go see a doctor in Birmingham. The nurses are not attentive. They are always on their phones at the nurses station. My grandmother almost didn’t make it because the machine didn’t “alert” the nurses when her breathing was low!! Throw the hospital away or hire better staff and managers. This is hospital is ridiculous. So disappointed. Please save yourself a trip by coming to this place. Seriously.
