Desert Valley Hospital

I walked into the emergency room for my daughter and was surprised to see that it looked completely run-down and stripped everything off the walls and barely any chairs I assumed it was under construction but no sign saying there was any construction, but they where incredibly friendly to my 5 yr old daughter and the nurses actually knew how to put an IV in without fishing. We where in there for 9 hours and my daughter was in bad pain but they didn't want to give her anything for what she had and they sent us home with an antibiotic at least. Other than that is not super bad but for an adult I would definitely go to another hospital I was paying attention to the nurses and some patients and a couple of the nurses where rude to patients.

My son was admitted and under went numerous tests. He is a big man and told us they should have never took him as a patient. He was there about 5 days they did get him into Loma Linda for that I am very thankful for. He had some great support while there. But after he left the Doctors would not do any paperwork or sign anything for his state disability they were asked several times with the same answer no we don't do that.

To start off I'll just say i have a heart condition , when i was brought in for angina which i knew wasn't bad every single person went out of their way to be nice personable and treated me better than any other hospital I've ever been to (unfortunately that number has grown). The nursing staff all seemed to listen intently and to care and i personally wish i could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it

I love this hospital. Not one thing to complain about but about 100 things to give them praise for. From my husbands health issues to my pregnancy then to my son's emergency, everything and everyone here has been helpful, caring, and friendly. Huge shout out to every single nurse in their labor and delivery. Everytime I think back to how much I was panicking and how uncooperative I probably was, I just get overwhelmed with gratitude to how my labor and delivery was handled. I was terrified but my nurses guided me through each moment. A year later my son had an emergency and their ER staff was so patient and attentive. This hospital is just amazing.

-10 didn't want to even put one star. My father arrived in a ambulance for high blood pressure and not able to see. After 6hr in the emergency room. Doctor never saw him... because they were really busy, that's what the receptionist told us. We left and went to Kaiser...... they told be bad stuff about this hospital, ALL TRUE.........
