Treated my father poorly both times he went there. First time he was having a rheumatoid flare up and needed steroids. The first the doctor told him was, “we don’t give pain meds here.” My dad didn’t even say anything to him yet except hello. The second time he came in for chest pain And his blood pressure was very high. The doctor ran tests and they came back normal. My mother had many questions and the doctor was rude every time she asked a question. He told her that he was very busy and had a six bed ER to oversee. Was she taking up too much of his time? 6 patients!! In bigger cities the ERs have at least 26 beds. He can’t even manage 6? He did not listen to my fathers medical history and tried to give him a medication that he is not supposed to have. Perhaps he should find another slower ER or give up altogether.

Newer facilities with mostly adult care If you have a high risk pregnancy or a child with multiple medical problems they will be calling the kid hospitals in san Antonio. Can handle most emergencies related to adults.

Been here for about 3 hours and not even the nurses have checked on my wife, hospital overall looks good but needs more doctors to keep up with the patients, i suggest if you going to come here for anything have some one shoot you on the leg or arm or do it yourself maybe that way theyll see you faster.
