Brought in by EMT, excellent concern, testing and diagnosis, follow up. Staff was very understanding and listened. Thank you!

If I could give negative stars I would. Not even sure where to begin. Waited over 8 hours in the ER waiting room, never saw a doctor and was never given a diagnosis. After asking when I would get to see a doctor, I was told that I would most likely be there overnight, which is absurd. I asked if I could just leave and someone call me with test results (CT scan, urine sample, etc) and was told "this isn't a clinic, no one will call you with test results". They also lost the first urine sample I gave them and asked for another one, 4 hours later. So I finally left, then the bills started coming in. They never asked me for my insurance information at the hospital, so when their billing dept. called I gave it to them. I have now had to provide this information 5 times and still keep getting bills. I am being asked to pay a $2,374 invoice from a "Dr. Laborde", who I never saw and can't even find on their list of doctors anywhere at UT Health. Unfortunately I have been in several ERs in my life and this is by far the worst ran place I have ever seen. Just drive further to get better care.

We were visiting near Athens & had to take a family member to the ER due to a serious staph infection. The ER staff were nothing but exceptional. They were all very patient and kind to him and our family. He ultimately was admitted and spent time in the main hospital. The care he received was outstanding. The nurses (Toni & Lili & Kim) and the DRs were extremely easy to understand, answered all of our questions and helped us make the decisions we needed to make for his care. I wouldn’t think twice about going back again and appreciate everyone who helped us during this stressful time.

We had to go to UT Health yesterday. We had the best doctor and nurses for our situation. There was no bullying from the staff. Very pleasant experience. We were listened too and taken care of in the best way possible.

If I could be negative I would. Been here now 14 hours with no one seeing me yet, my meds are all being denied, and no one cares. Worst hospital, nurses, and staff I have ever seen in my life.
