Great staff in the ER! Very attentive and no wait. Managed pain in a very timely fashion. Always feel taken care of safe at essentia!

We recently switched our healthcare from Sanford to Essentia. Sanford employees are obviously miserable and the care they provide patients reflects this fact. The difference we have seen with Essentia is amazing, The staff is kind, caring and thorough. I’m so glad we made the switch.

Switched From Sanford Obgyn To Essentia in my third trimester and has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! They are kind and caring and make sure you come first ! I feel more relaxed an no more stress or anxiety! They helped so much ! I feel very comfortable and give them a 5+ rating if I could all labs and tests are done on a very fast timely manner, and never a long wait! Thank you Essentia!

With the exception of a few nurses, and cleaning staff, the place is a nightmare. The nursing staff had disagreements in front of me to the point where the RN was in tears from the comments that came from the LPN. A few of the nurses on duty at the time of my medications, brought to me, Tylenol. I have allergies to Tylenol. But this continued on several occasions through out my 4 day stay. They never once showed me the labeling of the medication they were giving me. They would just tell me what it was. The LPN that had the RN in tears, continued to harass me in such a way that I actually had an anxiety attack to the point where I told the social worker I did not want her in my room ever again. At the end of her last shift of the weekend, she came into my room and stated that she hopes she doesn't see me in there again when she returns to work in a couple of days. She definitely should not be in the nursing profession. There are many other incidents that I choose not to express in this review. But I will say, that I was basically forced under duress, with my anxiety and PTSD acting up from many different situations, to give an evaluation the day before I was to go home. The only positive thing about that hospital is that it is kept extremely clean and the medical staff does clean their hands before touching anything in your room. And the food and the kitchen staff were awesome. And for disclosure Reasons I'm speaking about my stay which was a little over a year ago in April. So things may have changed since then, but I do not know. Bobby, the email address you supplied is INVALID, tried 3 times. My response to you is: Do you really want to know more info?? If so, this is what I tried sending to your email address you supplied. Dear Bobby: In regards to contacting you with further information about my Essentia stay in April of 2018; I will do so at a later date. The cancer had returned this year and I just finished a 6 wk radiation treatment and am not in any mood at this time to discuss my stay at your facility. Thank you for your understanding. And I'll get in touch with you soon.

Took my non verbal special needs son to the ER last night 8/19/19 due to high fever that I couldn't get down. Phone nurse said I needed to bring him in immediately. I live over an hour away. Upon arrival we didn't even wait 2 mins to get brought back. With in 5 mins the Dr was in the room. The nurse was so amazing and helped my son relax and was so friendly. Dr. Hammond was so amazing with my son. Patient, kind and loving and took the exam at my son's willingness and speed. Did a full work up even though he knew the likely cause of the issue. He didn't want to assume and checked him over being he's non verbal with no pain receptors. Then went back to the beginning. He treated him and got him on the mend. While waiting for meds the nurse printed neat transformer and dinaour pages to color all at 2 am. He was treated and out of the E.R with under an hour. This is so important for kiddos like my son. I was impressed the Dr had read my son's chart before even walking into the room. Props to the staff that night and the kindness they showed. It meant so much to this momma's heart.
