Evans Memorial Hospital

I took my sister to have a procedure at Evans Memorial and our experience was amazing! The people in admissions was so nice and smiling which was so nice. When we were taken to the back her nurse Whitney was amazing and a beautiful person. She treated us both with compassion. Whitney took time to talk to us and explained every step of the procedure. In no time while my sisters nurse Whitney was still talking to us, Trey was there to take her back. Trey was amazing as well. The hospital was clean and such a nice atmosphere. So many people want to be negative but this staff and hospital was nothing but a positive experience for both of us. I thank you Whitney for taking time to treat shelley and I like you had known us forever! I thank all the staff and Dr for taking great care of my sister cause to me my sister Shelley is a part of my world!!!

Amazing, hard working staff here. I was recently admitted for the flu and a bad infection in my chest and they took amazing care of me night and day. They also work with you on payments for the bill and make everything really easy and less stressful.

My experience was horrible! I just left there after arriving at 1AM for a possible miscarriage. This is my first pregnancy and I’m 10 weeks so when I started cramping a little and then bleeding/passing clots I freaked out. I had my father take me to the nearest ER and this just so happened to be the closest. They brought me right back and then had me sit in the room for an hour and a half while they all sat at the nurses station chatting away. There was only 1 other patient there at the time. Then Dr Landry finally came in and told me that I may or may not be having a miscarriage. I asked him if he could do an ultrasound and he said that they don’t do those at night and that I’d have to come back in the morning for one. So pretty much my time was wasted and I’m still upset and freaking out about this! THIS FACILITY NEEDS TO CLOSE THEIR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT because if they can’t do a simple ultrasound then I’m willing to bet they can’t do anything qualified as an emergency. As an emergency medical professional myself this facility really concerns me.

Took my mother here for a fractured wrist. Very fast service for an emergency room. All of the staff were very professional and the physician really listened to her. Could not get any better care even in a large hospital.
