Falmouth Hospital

My grandmother has come here several times in the last few months and each time it has only gotten worse. Last night she was brought to the ER again and it was unacceptable the way things were handled. They are extremely short staffed in the ER. The doctors are not communicative and the staff is rude. Dr. Michelle Swekla is very unprofessional. He never communicated with my Mother or myself regarding treatment - other than to tell us she was coming home. He never explained what the diagnosis was and documented med changes that were never explained. The staff at the front desk was extremely rude this morning. This morning an older lady who seemed to have a chip on her shoulder was working at the front desk to the ER. If you want quality care from caring, kind drs and nurses...stay away from Falmouth Hospital!

Nice people. Sadly terrible aftercare. I was given prescriptions that i could not obtain or even afford. This infuriates me as I was embarrassed at multiple different pharmacy's. I would never recommend going hear unless its your only option and even then be careful what they may prescribe you cause it may cost you or be unavailable for you.

I would like to say that the only reason I am giving a 1 star is that the ER doctor Mathew Timberger is completely abrasive unwilling to listen to the patient and extremely rude . In my opinion people in the medical profession should care for sick people with a good caring attitude . Mr Timberger should follow the good example of the rest of the staff at the hospital . Every other person my wife and I came in contact with was a pleasure to be around and made me fell like they were treating me with good care and dignity they all had a smile and even though I was going through something life threanting and horrible they all helped me quickly and answered all my questions with answers I could understand . I was so aggravated with how mr Timberger treated me I will be making a formal complaint to the hospital and will find out if I can make a complaint on his medical license he should not be a doctor in fact should not be around people. When I brought my concerns to his colleagues they did not disagree that his behavior is unacceptable . So if you do end up here make sure you stay away from him . This is a super clean well staffed hospital with all the technology to save you .

People answering the phone are absolutely useless
