RN Sonia peralta was not just an amazing nurse but was excellent help to my recovery. She was friendly and made sure to attend me with kindness and came frequently to check up on me with a smile. The whole staff that was attending em was amazing but she took extra good care of all of her patients not just me.

I went to the ER at Garden Grove Hospital the other night and it was the weirdest most uncomfortable experience I've ever had in an ER. When they opened the doors to the ER, all I could hear was this overpoweringly loud sound of a man's voice conversing over some kind of loudspeaker with the patients or the doctors or something as if he he was remotely trying to diagnose the person. On top of that, there were these constant loud beeps that were so much louder than regular hospital beeping sounds. I mean, it was overwhelming and constant then all the other sounds of staff talking and laughing loudly and cleaning crew loudly using their equipment and overpowering chemicals. I had a fever and they told me that to bring it down I would have to just wear the gown with my underwear and I would be given no blanket and that was their fever reducing solution...I gave them urine and I gave them blood and waited for the results, meanwhile I was only given ibuprofen and Tylenol for pain but no fluids until finally the doctor gave me the results that I had an infection and then the RN IV'd me fluids and antibiotics. I do have to say that the rest of the time there was much more pleasant as it finally quieted down and one of the RNs took over my care. His name was Kenneth. He had such a calm reassuring demeanor and I could tell that he cared. He was gentle and kind and he even brought me some applesauce and water after I told him I was hungry and I really wanted applesauce. He was attentive and I really appreciated his care. I would also like to commend the man who took over after him until I was released but unfortunately I could not see his name tag. He was also a great caregiver. My only other complaint is that after I was discharged early in the morning, I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my ride. I was just sitting there watching the TV, not bothering anyone. The security guard confirmed that I was waiting for a ride and I said yes. After a while, he approached me and said I could no longer wait there and that I had to go to a different area of the hospital and sit outside on the bench...I was shocked. I reluctantly complied and sat outside in the 6am cold in a spot my ride wouldn't even know to look for me. I was so upset and I was shivering and I started crying. A nurse had come out of the hospital and asked me if I was ok. I told her the situation and she became upset that the security guard would do such a thing. She told me it was my right to wait inside and so I went back in while she had words with the guard. So again I'm just sitting waiting watching the TV and after a while I got kicked out again and this time he said I had to wait at the bus stop. Can you imagine? Been sick in the ER all night and can't even wait inside where it's warm for your ride to come. WTF. RIDICULOUS. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.

Parents, you’d better believe me when I’m telling you this, DO NOT bring your children to this place. As parents, my wife and I, we urge you do not bring your children to this hospital. I will not going into details, because these nurse, staffs and doctors are not worth my time. I have decided to write this review because I never wish you to have these people put your children through what They have done to mine.

They will steal from for your loved one! They do have a policy when you're going into the ER take jewelry off your loved one, but when you fall and break your hip in the street and don't have family around you how are you able to do that? Service here is horrible as if everyone doesn't care, completely unsanitary and unhelpful hospital staff. Please take your loved ones some where else they truly are the worst.

I had a very terrible experience here and have reached out to make a complaint. If you can help it. Do not go here. I believe that my child would have lost her life if I were not there to prevent it.
