I had a visit to the E.R. and the staff was wonderful! They made me feel at ease and addressed all of my concerns. Everything was done adequately and in a very timely manner. I would recommend this hospital to anyone I know that lives in the area, and if I ever need hospital care again I would definitely come here.

Walked in the emergency room and already had bad vibes from people from the front desk to even the nurses and doctors. My father is still In pain after they prescribe him over the counter medicine for him... we paid a visit basically to see the workers rough faces and came back home the same way we walked into the emergency room. Customer service people need to be train to be more caring or at least act like they care for their customers instead of looking at their computer screen, as well as the doctors and nurses. If y’all wanna waste your time I suggest this hospital. Whoever replies for this hospital to apologize for our bad experience please don’t waste your time typing and put in some action to make this hospital an actual hospital.

I had a few tests done here as an outpatient recently and was very impressed with their radiology dept. The techs were very friendly, kind, and understanding. Above anything else, very professional and knowledgeable. Overall, its a sweet hospital because of the convenience it also offers to get all tests done without walking miles! Thank you !

Everyone as far as staff has always been so friendly and doctors as well. Today I made a call to the ER in regards to a medical emergency that’s going on for me, I was explaining the situation trying to figure out if going to the ER they would be able to see me for this and VANESSA, who was taking care of me through the phone, before I was even done talking, rudely said basically for me to get to my point. I then tried finishing my concern and then she cut me off again saying she can’t give me any medical advise if I feel the need to get seen then to come in. Again. In a rude tone. That’s when I got upset and said look I’m not seeking medical advice, I just want to know if you guys can see me for this but my real question was how does it go as far as payment wise because I no longer have insurance. Rudely said she has nothing to do with that part and then she said “I have to go now”. So unprofessional. If you’re in the medical field it’s because you want to help sick people. Bad customer service, shows she had no interest in patients or her job. Not only that, but is giving glen oaks hospital a bad reputation. I then called central dupage hospital and they were so kind, helped me out and even told me they could try enrolling me for help as far as paying for my visit.

My husband was brought in by ambulance with a low heart rate. The staff in the ER were pleasant and efficient, but the Dr. decided to admit him to the hospital. I went him to see him the next day and he said he had to use the urinal. I handed it to him and asked what he had to wash his hands after using it, and he said they gave him nothing. I called the nurse, and her solution was to walk to the hand sanitizer dispenser, take a couple of squirts in it, and proceeded to put it in his hand. She then said he could do that whenever he used the urinal. THE DR'S SAID HE COULDN'T GET OUT OF BED. My husband also wanted a shower. After being in there for over 24 hours, nothing to bathe with, nothing to brush his teeth with, and nothing to wash his hands with. The solution to that was to give him a packet of 8 premoisened towelettes and told him to clean up with that. I do not see how this place can stay open and be accredited as a real hospital. The Dr. wanted to keep him there another day, but he said he would not put up with another day, and night of substandard care. I took him home where we have real soap and water, and a shower.
