Absolutely terrible customer service and eye care practices. Brought my mom in just to see Dr. Scott about a prescription she did incorrectly and the clinic presumed to make an appointment to get a new prescription without letting us know ahead of time and ended up charging us. Before we got the prescription, we asked Dr. Scott and the staffs more than three three times if there was going to be a fee for the prescription and they let us walked out that day saying they will talk to a manager first. In a normal business practice, all staffs must consult a manager prior to the treatment. It was an absolute scam to do that to us without asking someone first. We didn’t even ask for a new prescription, we just wanted to talk to Dr. Scott about a prescription we got from her just a couple of months before she moved to Great Falls clinic because she wasn’t at Shopko anymore. So they ended up charging us and I talked to the manager name Tiffany who was rude and unwilling to help. She told us that if the second prescription does not work then we can have a refund and negotiation. This was a lie. Two weeks after we bought the new pairs of glasses with the new prescription, it ended up being worst than the first. So I contacted Tiffany back two weeks after the last conversation and she continuously gave us attitude, told us that she didn’t say anything about refund or negotiation, and that the only solution is for us to come back and get another prescription with Dr. Scott. Does this make any sense? To go back and get ANOTHER prescription by someone who had already messed up TWICE?? When I asked the manager why nobody contacted me when I tried contacting them, she kept saying I didn’t call her or leave her a voice mail when 1) I called her twice and she never picked up, 2) when she left me a voicemail she told me to contact another person, 3) when I contacted this new person, I asked her to leave a message for Tiffany on our behalf because we want a refund as the SECOND prescription also did not work!! 4) nobody bothered to contact me after I left a message through the new person and they made the excuse that I didn’t bother contacting them AND that they thought we didn’t want them to contact us??? What type of business accuse their customers of lying?? They presumed to tell us that there’s no refund even though the second prescription still did not work. So the lessons here are 1) don’t book with Dr. Scott because she is not qualified as she messed up a simple prescription TWICE; 2) don’t bother dealing with the manager and staffs here because they’re rude and disrespectful; 3) don’t bother signing their contracts because apparently according to Tiffany, we don’t have to sign it so that we’re not tied or bound to the clinic, so it will save your life if you don’t sign it because it protects the clinic and not you! I never had a problem in other clinics with getting a refund for a prescription before (In different cities in the US and in Canada), the only reason we even bothered coming to this clinic was because Dr. Scott, who messed up the first prescription, suddenly moved to this clinic and we JUST wanted to talk to her because it was only right and fair to get our money’s worth when a prescription was incorrect. It’s such a simple solution but obviously they only care about the money :/
