Grundy County Memorial Hospital

We were from Tennessee up there hunting when my husband got sick with beginning stage of pneumonia only spent 1 night there, but cannot say enough about that hospital and staff. Awesome caring people treated us like family. Even called the next day when we were on our way home to see how he was doing. Thank you so much. Would give them 10 stars.

went after having seizure, i have had seizures for years. they gave me a ekg and ativan . left and had another seizure if you want to die a good place to go

My husband and I recently moved to Grundy center. By recently I mean the beginning of April. The first weekend we spent in our new house in this new town I got food poisoning. So bad so I HAD to be seen by someone to stop the pain. I went to the ER because I wasn’t going to have my husband drive 20 minutes to the nearest urgent care in cedar falls. The nurses and doctor were so incredibly nice and patient with me! They gave me some medicine and I started to feel a bit woozy so I had her stop and talk to me for a few just to make sure the medicine she gave me wasn’t affecting me negatively. About a week after my visit I received a card in the mail, HAND WRITTEN AND SIGNED by the team that helped me that night. Amazing care quality and everyone was soooo nice. I don’t want to go back, but if I ever had to GCMH would be the place to go!

I can't think of a negative thing to say about this hospital. Amazing vare and bedside manner ya don't come by very often!!

On April 1st my 84 year old parents were travelling back home from Kansas City to Wisconsin. They were in a horrible accident and were taken to Grundy County Memorial Hospital. I drove 5 hours after getting the call from the paramedic and cannot tell you how appreciative my family is to everyone that helped them that day. From the good Samaritans that pulled over when they saw their car go in the ditch, to the paramedics, to the doctor and nurses that cared for them and took the time to call me and talk to me about their condition until I arrived that night. Our family is SO THANKFUL to everyone in Grundy Center, IA who helped us that day!!!!!!!!!
