How is this place even passing inspections?!! Seriously. Who signed the approval? Investigation. I was sitting near the elevators waiting for my mom in the ER. All of a sudden, drip drip drip on my leg. Look up and it’s the air con vent stained by.. sitting water?... mold? Lizard poopoo? Like a puddle brown stains. Dr helping my mom wasn’t friendly. Medical professionals, have some compassion. If you’re stressed at work (or at home), meet some friends at happy hour at ruby Tuesdays (all day on Tuesdays) or the Hilton tree Bar. Security guard at ER was on his phone and seemed annoyed when I asked for my mother. He told me to sign her in and sit down. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: provide direction with signs so we know what to do in a stressful situation. You guys are using small blank and white printouts. And if people don’t have proper ID and you guys accept them anyway, the hospital should be able to take fingerprints. Again, seriously. People need to do their jobs (not just medical or security, but cleaning and repairs). If not, they should pay the governments (federal and local) failure to do so. And if locals don’t want their job, post the jobs in the states bulletins. Lots of people want to live in paradise. No pollution, beautiful vibrant sunsets, lush greenery from north to south. Why can’t we appreciate what we have and revive (federal funding- aka stateside people’s taxes).

Had major surgery there earlier this year and the nursing staff on maternity ward were literally horrible. Almost bled out on bed after 1st surgery. I continually told them I didn't feel good, my blood pressure was very low and I was bleeding more than usual (they didn't check till 3rd time I informed them. Had to have 2nd emergency surgery for hemorrhaging and needed 2 bags! I worked in medical field and it seemed like they all were just hired and left running around on their own. They even forgot to put a pad on me after 2nd surgery and I bled on floor siting in chair not knowing. They spoke a different language in front of me constantly which is disrespectful, not allowed and unprofessional. I am disabled which is why I am on Medicaid and HAD to use this hospital. Will never go back unless I am dying!! If there were negative stars I would use negative 5 stars. I pray for other patients on that floor.

Theres a nurse at gmh was rude and had no manners . Was polite and she had a sour face towards everyone!

The hospital is a good working environment, but they need to enforce thee english only rule. When your the only chamorro standing there and they just start speaking filipino. Very bad for myself and the patients. Something needs to be done fast.

Go to the regional hospital, avoid GMH. The nick name of this place is Get Murdered Here and I know why. Our 5 year old son died here after being in the pedia ward for 12 hours without any doctors coming into his room. They never did a culture of the virus that he had so didnt know what they were treating. THEY DIDNT PUT MY SON INTO THE ICU, as they told me they would, even though he was dying. Dr. John Garrido visited my son at around 7pm at night and he never came back, nor any other doctor ever showed up again until around 7am when my son passed. Was sleeping more important than my 5 year olds life? We still dont know what exactly killed him except for the hospital incompetence.Shame on you.
