Check-in staff rude and derogatory. Would use a metaphor but even a rabid rottweiler is more cuddly.

I give Hammond-henry hospital 4 stars. With better service and smarter doctors. then osf saint Luke medical center in Kewanee Illinois. I've only been to geneseo hospital twice. But both times I got great service. and got the help I needed. And the right medications I needed the first time. And I also got a doctor to actually explain to me what my inner ear problem was. and what it was called. And why it was happening to me. And both times I walked in. I was seen right away. I was very happy with the service I got.

Called because I was over-billed by $95, they told me they would investigate and call back. They never called back and sent me another bill.

While the nurses and doctors seemed fine, my experience waiting for my mother’s surgery was horrid. The surgical waiting room was full of children running around screaming unsupervised, people swearing non-stop, and others making racist remarks while watching the news. The woman working at the desk in the surgical waiting room never said or did anything. She just sat there watching tv or staring blankly ahead. Everyone in this waiting room was waiting for a loved one having surgery. You would expect some degree of care for the family of patients too.

If I could give it a 0 I would the nurses where very nice but the doctor that came in at 7 pm made me cry. And besides that he spoke with my family with out my consent.
