Lansdale Hospital

My Father recently passed away, he spent his last time on earth at the hospital. The third floor staff from the custodial staff to the doctors were absolutely awesome. The hospice care he received at the end was merciful and with dignity. The doctors were great but I want to single out his nurse Rene. She was compassionate and caring! Not only did she take care of Dad she also took care of my Mother, sister, and I. Please post this for all the staff to see and do let me know how I can make an “official” report for the record.

I went from Radiology, to the ER, ICU then regular hospital room. This is a big shout out to every nurse, doctor and technical staff person that helped me along the way! From Jackie, Bailey, Dani and Doc BF, and support staff Emily, I was always in the best of hands. They were all professional, friendly and just good and kind people. I would recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone.

We have had two great experiences in the Abington-Lansdale Hospital Lab. The technicians are efficient, professional and very kind. My daughter is terrified of needles and they went out of their way to put her at ease, draw the blood quickly and then allow her extra time to sit after the draw. Highly recommend them !

The pre admission testing was great. Every one was very nice and thorough. The hospital made it a very easy process.

The scheduling is horrendous! I had been attempting to schedule my anatomy ultrasound for WEEKS . The first time, I scheduled it and the scheduler didn’t accept my script “because the doctor wrote it wrong” and had me call and get a new one faxed over. When my appointment day finally came, the scheduler gave the center one time and me another so I ended up missing the appointment and having to call and schedule again! They leave you on hold for half an hour or more every time you call. The second time I called, they told me my script was expired (even though it had been faxed to them the week prior) and that they would ask my doctor to fax a new one then they’ll call me back to schedule the appointment. Lo and behold, they never contacted my doctor to get a new script and never called me to schedule my anatomy scan. Now here I am at 25 weeks pregnant with a new script and they still put me into a run around as if they didn’t make an error in scheduling. After weeks of frustration with the schedulers, someone advised me to go to another hospital for testing. In less than 20 mins Einstein Montgomery Medical Center did what Abington Jefferson Lansdale couldn’t and have me scheduled for my anatomy ultrasound that should have been done weeks ago. My advice: go somewhere else!
