Arrived at 330a to ER has no chair to sit down while checking, read and sign papers at desk. .im sick as a Dog vomiting stomach virus. I ask for a chair. She told me to give her my I'd and sit in the lobby. She called me up again to sign papers. I asked for a chair once again she just looks like a deer in headlights. The security guard heard and brought me a wheelchair. Poor admission. It's now 5 am I'm still in lobby. I'm leaving

I’ve never been more disappointed than now. I took my daughter to the ER to get checked and I’ve been waiting for 5 hours. 2 hours in the waiting room and 3 in the back waiting for a doctor. Turns out that no doctor signed up to see my daughter. It’s an emergency room & I'm there for a reason. No sense of urgency or sympathy from the staff. Will not be going here ever again!

I reluctantly took my mom to this hospital after her last visit where she encountered the worst nurses and doctors that didn't listen and didn't seem to care. This emergency roomvisit was very different. She had the most amazing nurse and doctor, Judgette and Dr Foster. The are exceptional attentive staff who medicine is their true calling because of the caring and compassion they have. It was a delight to have my mom be taken care of by these two. They are an asset to your organization.

Today is July 1, 2019. What SoMD Hospital consider an emergency room is a joke. People visit the emergency room because its an EMERGENCY. I have been waiting for over 2.5 hours and still waiting. I get seen at an overcrowded barber shop faster. We have to do better than this. This place have to be understaffed and underfunded. This will be the last time giving my local hospital an opportunity to provide proper service.

I recently took my Mother (who is 94 years old) their. The Doctors were friendly but didn't seem to be communicated well with each other. My mother was there for 4 days and no one ever came to get her up to walk. She waited more than 30 minutes for some one to help her when she rang the call button. Her meals were either wrong, cold or missing. Her colostomy bag was rarely empty unless she called for help. This hospital earned its star of 2.9 I wanted to believe that the rating was wrong but it wasn't even a 2.9 it was a 2 and I only gave it that because SOME of the staff were great.
