Went in for a two day migraine and dehydration and they treated me like I was a bother. Doctor came in asked a couple questions and just left with out saying anything. 10 minutes later a nurse came to give me shots and a pill after saying I can’t keep anything down. ‍♀️ Another time I went in for an allergic reaction I was told I was fine and was sent home.

As someone said on here if there was zero stars mauston "urgent care" deserves it. That place is a joke. I thought hospital care where I was from was bad but this place is the worst I've ever been to. Dont go there find any other place if possible. They are unorganized with poor quality of care. My mouth was screaming in pain and I had a fever the night before going to urgent care in mauston. I decided to go in after the pain became too much. I arrived and had to wait an hour for anyone to even come and take my blood pressure. After doing that they sent me back to the waiting room. I had to ask for an ice pack and by the time they came to me again it was warm. They brought me into the same room and took my blood pressure again. They hadn't even put the last reading in the system! Afterward they sent me back to the waiting room. All together I was there for nearly 4 hours and no one even looked at me. There were nurses and other staff standing around and laughing while the ER was supposedly slammed. I finally left in anger and had to drive to tomah. They helped me right away. I had a severe mouth infection and my blood pressure was 176/100. I was helped in tomah in a quarter of the time I was in mauston. Worst experience ever.

I went to the urgent care to get checkout was feeling dizzy and light headed and so we sat in the lobby for a half hour before the call us back to urgent care and got into urgent care we sat in the room for 2 1/2 hrs straight waitting for a doctor to come in and after sitting that long we end up and left. While walking out there was room with door opened with no lights on and also there was a other room with no lights on and a doctor sitting at the desk eating never bother checking in on us. I dont recommend anyone go to mauston hospital.

Do not be fooled by the URGENT CARE sign. They will bill you twice for one visit because since their urgent care is in the same building as their hospital facility they are able to legally do so; whereas if their urgent care building was solely dedicated to urgent care only, they cannot double bill you. I brought my daughter into this urgent care for an ear infection and was told it would be treated as an urgent care visit. I was at no time informed I would be doubled billed for the visit. I and my insurance were indeed billed for this single visit twice. One labeled as “Urgent Care Clinic” and one labeled as “Office Visit”. In addition, the doctor refused to even treat my 10 year old daughter for the ear infection because she wasn't running a fever even though she was in pain and the doctor even admitted it appeared infected. So, at the end of the day I was billed twice for the same visit due to what would appear to be a legal loophole and my daughter didn't even receive medical treatment. I highly recommend avoiding this urgent care clinic if it is at all within your ability to do so. I myself will travel to the urgent care clinic in Lake Delton from now on where I have never experienced them refusing to treat my children for an ear infection when they are in pain, nor anything else for that matter. The Lake Delton urgent care facility is a single building that is solely dedicated to nothing but urgent care, therefore will not/cannot double bill you for one visit.

I had double eye cataract surgery here by Dr. Sterkin and all was top notch.
