The labor and delivery staff were really awesome and I can’t say enough great things about them. The postpartum staff upstairs on the other hand were not as great. Some of the techs and nurses were very nice but others were rude. I understand that you want to push breastfeeding because breast milk is awesome and the best for baby. But when a new mother is having a hard time, I just think you guys need to be a little more supportive and kind. Breastfeeding is not easy for everyone. The lactation consultants were pushy and stuck up about breastfeeding. New mothers everywhere struggle with it and the guilt they made me feel for wanting to give my baby formula because she was jaundiced was wrong. My baby is 1 month old today and tomorrow I will be telling her pediatrician I want to wean and switch to formula. I have run myself down so much with breastfeeding. It has been painful for me and I am caring for my baby alone because my spouse is deployed. I miss out on hours of sleep because I have been too afraid to make the switch sooner. I have fallen into postpartum depression and I am dealing with a painful infection and thrush. None of this I’d be dealing with if it wasn’t for the crazy amount of guilt I was made to feel while there. Everyone told me “take advantage of the nursery in the hospital “ and you guys don’t even allow breastfeeding mothers to do that. I was told you’d bring her into my room every 2 hours to nurse and you didn’t even allow me 2 hours of sleep after being awake for almost 24 hours from the time I woke up to the time I delivered her. I hadn’t eaten either. I was weak and exhausted and like I said I get breast is best but when a patient is telling you she doesn’t feel like baby is getting enough and baby is jaundiced, you should do what is best for baby and mom and give the baby formula. And the lactation consultants need to stop making people feel bad for formula feeding it’s ridiculous. I made it to one month and I’m proud of that but I was miserable during my stay there.

They outsource through independent for-profit companies. So St. Anne's may be in network for you: but none of your independent nurses. So you'll be surprise billed through the nose. Financial aid for them begins at 200% below poverty. Partially poor? No luck. Outsourced doctors and nurses have their own financial aid. They chose to sell my cell number to automated telemarketers offering to help me with medical bills via bankruptcy. In all: was charged about $3,000 for 15 minutes in the ER.

The nurses were lovely. They answered all the questions we had, and made testing run as smoothly as possible. The doctors on the other hand, completely incompetent. The doctor my boyfriend saw ran 2 tests, and sent him home. IN PAIN. Pain so bad that he could barely walk unless he was hunched over like an old man. He's 21. When we kicked up a fit about his pain, they gave him some pain patches. Sure, that's going to help a BLOCKED KIDNEY. Awful hospital. Absolutely dreadful. Don't waste your time here.

Well, all I can say is unless you are having a baby, don’t go here. Maternity services are good for the most part. But a trip I had to the ER was very disappointing and alarming to me. After NOT being seen for my injuries, I received a bill in the mail. I called and spoke with a billing specialist about this and his response to me was “as soon as you step through those doors we are going to bill You for an ER visit, whether you are seen or not” IM DEAD SERIOUS. Really saddens me to think that there are people being ripped off everyday and not getting the medical help they need. I was honestly shocked. It didn't even seem real to me...something you would see in a movie. I can go on and on and on....so many HIPAA violations I can’t even list them. This ER needs completely shut down. I don’t want anyone I know putting their life in the hands of this ER.

Can't say enough good about the staff I dealt with in my short stay there. Not good with names or remembering them but Kaylee was a gem. With Incredible patience. Jeht was such a straight shooter and that I so much appreciate. Told the truth pull no punches pulled. Queen, was so pleasant. Wish I could say I hated to leave but I can't. I wanted out and God bless them and all the others whose names I don't remember for making my stay as pleasant as it could be under the circumstances! The doctors were also awesome. Names I don't remember but kudos to them
