The staff is super friendly, as long as you're respectful to them. I see a lot of people get mad because they cant understand how a hospital gets busy. They're surprisingly fast at handling things. Even when they are busy they still get things done faster than most hospitals. It's a clean facility too. The food could be better but they are cooking for a lot of people. Everything considered, they're great. If you want the staff to be friendly, give them a reason to be. No one wants to deal with an ignorant person who just screams until they get meds. Be courteous and kind, and remember, they dont even have to help you. They could've sent you home with undiagnosed issues like some hospitals I've been to. Be thankful for all the hard work they do. You're not the only patient they have.

I would give zero, had there been an option. Very discriminatory, territorial and negligent floor nurses and management. I wasn't sure whether my friend was in a psych facility or an acute care hospital. Nurses dining and wining and ululating while so many patients were calling for assistance. Don't expect anyone to answer your call, its their norm, they would bow down their heads and pass your room as if you don't matter. The very few nice, caring and humane nurses they have, are overwhelmed and overworked. I could go on and on ... They should better understand the power of public media and act properly and ethically. Thanks no thanks, I wouldn't recommend this hospital even to my enemies. Visitor

I personally have the best experience at PVH. If I have to be in the hospital I’d rather be here than anywhere else

I was seen for breathing problems I was in and immediately helped there was very little time lapse between being seen once checked in ... I was also there for a grandson whom was sick an it was a very fast response to see him and a short wait to receive help...they did not over diagnose him and prescribe meds he didn’t need which I found impressive.... I was also they for another grandchild who needed a 72 hour hold and was impressed with how they treated him and their kindness

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I've been asking for a nurse to help my friend who has been screaming in pain for the last 2 HOURS. They haven't even tried to figure out why she's in pain. Every time they will look directly at me, and then walk to a different patient. Do not come here for anything. They are useless. She could at least be at home and in pain, instead of feeling helpless in a place that she thought would help her.
