Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Nampa

I was in a serious and traumatic auto accident and taken to ER by ambulance. Everyone there was thoughtful, well spoken, caring, reassuring and comforting. Being from out of town, I had no one but the hospital staff to care for my needs. I felt they listened to me and were very conscientious. The physician was excellent, his nurses and aids were all pleasant to deal with and good at their respective professions.

Went to go see my doctor, dr. Lavergne for an extreme migraine I had for 2 weeks non-stop.( She was my dr for about 3ish years) waiting in the waiting room I was called back, I immediatel recognized that voice, it was my sister-in-law Lidia tovar. She took me back took my weight, blood pressure etc. everything a medical assistant does. I felt uncomfortable from the beginning & was confused why she is helping me. Approximately 2 weeks went by & she came to my front door & said " with her hands on her hips. "What the f**k is up with your UTERUS?" I was so confused & very angry because she definitely opened my file"!!! I previously saw my dr because I was having cramping! I let that one go! But after her coming to my home 3 more times asking me the same way, I was absolutely done,(the 2nd time I called & turned her in!!!) & everytime she threw it in my face, like it is her business period!! But unfortunately the BULLY HIPPA officer covered for her as well as PA & dr. Lavergne, they flat out lied & said another assistant took me back! & lidi Tovar flat out got away with getting into my file! Before all of this Lidia told me personally at a BBQ that Dr. Lavergne drank at work & her breath constantly smelled like hard liquor & that she kept liquor in her desk! She thought it was funny, I thought it was alarming!! I don't understand why Lidia Tovar is even still working for this hospital or any medical facility!!! What a disgrace! Not to mention lidia previously worked for terry reily health clinic & stole medicine & vaccines & vitamin BShots to give to family members & friends, I would not be surprised if she is still doing this! I rate her office a fat 0!!

was called within 15 minutes. all of the staff was exceptional, friendly, funny and comforting. the entire staff from intake triage doctor and discharge. couldnt have asked for a better experience. I was in so much pain and they comforted me the whole way. I wish i could remember the nurses names so i could give them a shout out. The doctor who treated me has his name on paper work so thankfully i can address him personally. I don't know if you will see this but hopefully someone tells you or you see it. Dr John Martin GIbson, thank you for you and your staffs hard work and kindness. when you are felling at your worst you really appreciate when someone is so kind. It really sticks with you. thank you and the staff at this er for everything you do 🙂 -Haley C

Well im starting to understand why this poor excuse for a hospital has such lousy reviews/score. First let me say that i am disabled and have congestive heart failure. That being said, the other day when it was 100° my car broke down and i sought shelter from the heat in lobby. Wasnt there hardly 30min before one of their security guards asked my name and what i was doing there. I explained what had happened and his response was " this is not a place to hang out" All I can say is this guy should read his company's mission statement because his behavior just totally contridicted it. For the record I will never use the services of st als in any capacity. I will tell anyone who will listen of my experience. Do yourself a favor and next time your sick/injured go to st lukes.

Wow. The worst ER. Offered no brace for hurt ankle no wheel chair for help out. Never seen the doctor once and left in a world of pain. I slipped and fell smashing my hip into the side of the tub and twisting my ankle and slammed my head into the bottom of the tub. All they said was go home and take ibuprofen and I might need physical therapy.... No ankle brace no crutches. But I'll get a hefty bill.
