My husband came in not able to breathe. He has severe asthma, no xray was done. All medicines and inhalers he needed were given and released after a treatment. Upon finishing medicines he wasn't better he was worse!! I took him back to er.. cray was done... Partially collapsed lung! Released and told to come back the next day for a follow up xray... he came back did an xray AND WAS RELEASED AND TOLD TO COME BACK IN A WEEK FOR ANOTHER XRAY THEN GO SEE THE SURGERICAL DEPARTMENT... He has asthma so a partially collapsed lung is even worse for him. He cant breathe, barely can move around, he cant start work until they do a chest tube and he heals up. Any hospital we have ever gone too in Nc or Texas they would've kept him just off the strength of how his lungs sounded before and after breathing treatments!!!! This is not how u do your job treating a man with asthma and a collapsed lung! Sending him home did more harm to him than help. You take a view to do no harm. This dr judgement call was way off. My children are watching their father struggle to breathe, eat, stand up, walk.

Waited for hours and watched others who arrived later than me receive faster service. An emergency room should really be faster than this.

What an ordeal today has turned into. I am borderline Type 2 diabetic. I control my diabetes through my diet so far. If I have to be on steroids for an illness, I have to be put on long lasting insulin. The Convenient Care care NP prescribed the wrong kind of insulin. Thank God for Walgreens and Dr. Overmyer's office for catching the mistake or I would have overdosed on Insulin. The NP even prescribed the dose wrong. When I call back to have them correct the script, I was told we're 11 patients deep and wouldn't be able to get to my chart today. Dr. Overmyer to the rescue, actually her nurse for making all the calls to get everything corrected. Dr. Overmyer's nurse was told the same thing when she called there to figure out what was going on. Too busy to correct their mistake. I will NEVER step foot in that place again.
