St Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City

My mom walked in with a walker 3 yrs ago, hasnt been able to walk since, confined to a whellwheel, once was independent now living in a facility. 2 hip replacements later, broken femur and a bunk knee replacement, which maybe amputated now due to osteomyelitis. Worst care and procedures ever. Won't say doctor name, due to lawsuit.

Worst place ever. Went in cause I was dizzy and passing out. Blood pressure was 148/147. They said that was ok. Sent me home saying I had virtigo. No tests ran.

I thought this was a decent hospital until Sam Clinkenbeard broke HIPPA by discussing patient information with everyone who lives at The Elms apartments and is still employed in admission in the ER. If you value your privacy at all I would recomend staying away from this hospital.

Ive had 3 different surgeries in st als in baker the 1st being both hips replaced at same time. My finger bein fixed 2nd time an just had shouler surgery Doc Leslie Jackson an Eric Sandeford are my docs there both of them an all there staff an the entire staff at Baker are all top notch an would recomend them to any one needin top notch care me an the wife have been goin up there for 7 yrs now an we love the professional an even a personal relationship there they truly care for us as ppl an not just patients top notch all the way around from front desk checkin in to the care we recieve me an the wife will always be endebted to the docs an staff of st als baker city Dave an Linda Hill

Awesome nurses. Some ER docs were grumpy. Bootsma staff awesome
