St Joseph Regional Medical Center

This hospital has been by far the best hospital I have been to. They give good hospitality. The hospital is clean and the employees are very friendly and kind. I do think they should clean their restrooms a bit better since it is a hospital. Other than that I don’t see why the hospital got bad reviews. Some nurses though do need to get better at putting the IV in your arm. Sometimes they have a hard time finding your vein that they just be poking you everywhere. I know nurses work long hours but it doesn’t mean that y’all should have an attitude at times. The doctors are great. The ER waiting time is not bad. It is an emergency room so you kind of expect that. All I know is that this hospital is better than memorial hospital.

Won’t come back to this emergency room.. People standing around and very slow. Three hours before I saw a room. They need to improve. Next time I’ll go to Niles. Plus no one keeps you informed. Too busy talking and on phones.

Delivered my daughter here- amazing experience. Clean rooms and quick answers to calls. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and very helpful. Only exception, in my opinion, was lactation aide I saw. Discharge was a bit slow too. Went here for 2 outpatient procedures as well. Once again one person (nurse) was less than nice/compassionate. Not using 1 person of many to bomb drop my rating. Setting up billing with the hospital itself was easy (can't say the same for anesthesiologist bill). Got on a 1 year repayment plan at 0% interest. Much appreciated.

Wait, wait, and wait more. After hours of sitting, we left and went to memorial. Seen a doctor within 15 minutes. Place was completely gross. People throwing up, coughing, etc. no face masks for our use. Bathroom had poop spread everywhere. Kids toys and books on the floors. The list goes on and on. My dead grandmother moves faster than anyone in that hospital.

St Joseph Regional Medical Center and its ER staff are a wonderful and caring group of people. Their personal concern combined with unmatched professionalism creates an top notch atmosphere needed in today’s medical world.
