Venice Regional Medical Center – Bayfront Health

The care I received during heart bypass surgery at Venice Regional Bayfront Health was truly exceptional. The doctors met with me several days prior to surgery to explain the procedure, discuss what to expect, and answer any questions. The hospital assigned a nurse advocate, who assisted my wife and me through every step of the process. Following surgery, my recovery was enhanced by the caring and highly experienced nursing staff. Honestly, I felt like I was being cared for as if I was a member of their family. They kept me comfortable and continually informed of everything being done to support the recovery process. I was impressed that my doctors stopped by my room several times each day during my stay to check my progress, discuss issues, and answer questions. All in all, I was totally impressed with the care I received at Venice Regional Bayfront Health.

I went in because I had a reaction to a new medication. They treated me promptly and all were kind. However the next day I received a check up call. That was so kind of them and helped me feel better as well. Thank you all so much!!!

Totally awesome care. Everyone we encountered over our 2 day stay was totally & genuinely wonderful. Absolutely recommend Venice Bayfront...U too will be pleased.

1 nurse's aide for 15 patients. Horribly short staffed. Most nurses, aides work hard. Some aides need put on probation. Housekeeping a joke unless you complain. Patient advocate also a joke. Dietary very good for most part. Glad they helped me but will not go back there.

The staff that has tended to my family member has been beyond phenomenal!!! From Doctors, nurses, sitters, housekeeping to registration, they have all been helpful, nice, and attentive. My family member is a miracle, And i can not give enough thanks to the team who helped, prayed and gave it their all. We appreciate everything you all have done.
