Winchester Medical Center

On Wednesday Oct 16, 2019 at approx 1500, I did something really stupid and hurt myself. When I walked into the Emerg. Dept, the nurse at the desk saw what the problem was and all of a sudden there were people all around me doing what they do. From that point their care was better than I've seen on TV. A swarm of Bee's, each one doing a specific task , like a well oiled machine. The Charge Nurse was caring, thoughtful and definitely in charge. I'm not sure of her name. The Doctors, Dr. Watts and surgeon Dr. Gibson were top of the line. When my wife entered the ER she was met by hospital personal and was taken to me right away. I don't know how they knew who she was when she entered. I don't remember to much after that

I just came out of the emergency room with my wife, waited 1 hour and 45 minutes couldn’t wait any longer specially knowing my wife was about to pass out: dehydrated, lots of pain. After 1 hour and 45 minutes We told them we were leaving and they did not even care asking or double checking why after they knew the severity of her symptoms or even made an attempt to confirm her symptoms. They definitely need a better way to check people in and take priority on severity of each patient. The worst experience ever, terrible healthcare system.

I have never in my life written a review before but I feel as though I have to do one for this hospital. This is LITERALLY THE WORST hospital ever ...They are racist as well . The nurses are lazy as hell they get mad when u call them for anything ...they have nasty attitudes and are mean for no reason . They treat you bad and tell you that you can not record anything because they are a private hospital ...they kick your visitors out because they wanna treat you bad In private I just saw them kick out a man with sickle cell while he’s still in pain crying ...I don’t know if the things they do is legal but someone needs to check in to it because it’s just sad so see

If I could give a zero, I would! I will say that the nurses are very kind however, I have an extreme problem with the double billing. First a mammogram special: Pay $99 for the mammogram and $95 extra for 3-D. Then I get another bill for the same thing (after I paid upfront)! They say oops and two months later... another bill! I will be calling on Monday to say "Oops, you did it again"! Then my son goes in and I am double charged for a CT scan! They say oops and yet it hasn't been fixed! Finally, my mother goes in and they incorrectly inform her of what her charges will be if she chooses to stay with them or use her veteran benefits. Most of my issues have been with billing however, if given the choice, I would drive the extra miles to go to Fairfax, Fair Oaks, or Stafford hospitals just to make sure that I have a good experience!
